Home Again

So... our original plan was to hang around Seattle for a couple of day before heading south to Medford. I have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday and we thought we'd extend out trip and get that done before going home. As it turned out we decided to surprise Chelsey and go all the way home on Sunday. We left our hotel at 6:00 AM and got home around 4:30 PM. Not bad when you consider that we made several stops along the way.

As we entered our neighborhood, I called Chesley to just touch base with her and found out she was watching TV. Perfect. That meant that she would not see us drive up. We parked the car out of view and walked quietly to the front door and then rang the doorbell, all while I was still on the phone with Chelsey. It was funny to hear her make comments about someone being at the door and her trying to quiet Da Boys down. Yes, she was surprised when she finally discovered us crouched in front of the door.

Chelsey was fine. Da Boys were fine. Everything was fine. After visiting for a while, we unpacked all our stuff and grabbed a bite at Torreros...John's pick as it was Father's Day. We were delighted to be back in our own bedroom, however we had to make our own bed first AND again, there was NO towel art. I'm going to have to talk to the management here.
