CHAMPS

We concluded out winter bowling league this week and we went out in high spirits. There were several categories of winners that were honored: Over-all points for the season, we came in 5th out of 20; Sweeper night (the last night’s score only) we came in fourth; and the most prestigious… League Champions: we took 1st!!!! Yes, you heard right, first. We had placed first in one of the quarters and the last night the four winning teams of each quarter rotated to play each other. The team with the highest average won. Thank you handicaps!

Are we hooked? Probably/Maybe. Winning the League Championship is probably not that uncommon for a rooky team. After all when you start with a really low average there is only one way to go…up! Once you are a better player it becomes harder and harder to improve your score. None the less it is great fun to play and I do want to play on another league next winter.
