BPPV

“…because of advanced age.” REALLY! I am OFFENDED! I am not THAT OLD!!!

The last few days I have had a pretty bad case of vertigo. I woke up with it Wednesday morning and was wondering what the heck was going on. Apparently there is a condition called BPPV that is not too uncommon in people over 50. It can last just a few days or several weeks, and I’ve had it for five days now. If it does not get better by tomorrow, I guess I'll go into the doctor and see if he can perform the exercises prescribed on the web with me, all assuming that I’ve correctly diagnosed my condition of course. I can’t wait for it to go away. On the other hand, Anneliese, my d-i-l, might actually welcome this condition as she seems to sooooooo much enjoy roller coaster rides as well as anything else that turns her upside-down. Ha! I will will her my symptoms!

Yesterday was DUCK fever day. Yeas, they won although they didn’t look as great as last year’s team. John and I rushed up to Eugene yesterday morning and then came back early this morning in the hopes to get a little R&R and do some domestic chores before the beginning of another work week.

Did I say yet how difficult it is to bowl with BPPV? Needless to say this week I did not improve my average.
